Now that the van is starting right up just find now I can work on the exhaust pipe.
I cut out the old one and pre set up pipe to check fitting before welding the exhaust muffler and pipe in place. I took a picture of the bottom part of the van and I am going to rust proof it with ( POR-15 ) or some other product that can convert rust. I can say, It's been a good day working on the van because I got everything done that I wanted to do on the van today.

Today is the day! I needed to figure out what is really wrong with my van with the (No Crank) issue. This problem has been on my mind for some time now and it's driving me crazy. I have to get to the bottom of the electrical mess. I slow down everything  and got myself together and clear my mind, so I got my volt meter out and tested every connection that have to do with the Ignition system. I have change a few electrical parts already  like the ( Ignition switch, starter solenoid, starter, voltage regulator& wire connector, repairing two fuse links, battery, rear brake light socket, coil wire connector).  fixed all the bad connection and replace bad parts and finally I got the van Running!!!! It feel good to hear the engine working again... was a learning experience with electrical issue. THE E-150 IS RUNNING AGAIN......

Once all the the electrical corrosion is taking care of and engine is running good I will like to degrease the motor and transmission and repaint it  the way the factory did when it was new. This will give it a clean look, like the floor in the cab painted it black it look real good from before.

The corrosion is playing a big part in my rust repair process and now it's started to attack the engine electrical part and it making me crazy. I have change a few part already and it look like I am going to be changing manny more parts before I can get the engine to run correct. In the beginning of this project I was planning in my mind that it will take me about two year to get the van to look good and to running great. I don't think so, It's going to take a lot longer plus winter is here and soon I will have to stop work, but I'll do my best.

I haven't been working on the van because the van will not turn over at all, the van started before and now its nothing but clicking sound. So I had to order some parts like the starter solenoid, Ignition starter switch and the fuel filter is rusted and it is leaking so I order that filter as well.... I need to get the van started soon so I can weld in the new exhaust pipe, muffler and the tail pipe. This time around I have some help to sand down the van for primer.

I receive my exhaust pipe and mufler need to weld it in as soon I get a clear sunny day to install it. I am going to buy some wood 4x8 sheet panel for the interior walls and wall to wall carpet.

It's all coming slowly together one section at a time. I hope I can get all my work on the van done before the winter snow hit the ground, so much to get done but I will get it done...

Well today I got up early because a storm call (sandy) is going to hit my area, so I have to perpaired any un-prime steel with primer and plus I got a Chance to prep  and clean the cab's floor apply some primer and then some few coast of glossy black paint to finish up the interior before I lay down a new carpet. I finish up the weld on the lower door panel and primed it for now untill the storm pass.

Back at it again, this time like always it's the RUST the big problem for this old ford van of mines. The lower part of the front driver side door panel needed some rust repair work, I have to redo a 9 year old repair that I did back then when I first brought tha van in 2003, now it's 2012 and it;s time to make the repair  right with the right tools that I have this time around. It's becoming real fun to work out the rusted out bad section right out of my van.

The homemade rocker and drop back panel are welded in place, with a little bondo filler and it will look great. This part was kinda hard to fabricate with out the right tools but I did it and it look factory. Now it's time to get to the lower door skin repair, that is the next job on my to do list....it's a now stop action.
